4 top BB officials resign
Four top officials of Bangladesh Bank (BB), including two deputy governors of the bank and the Head of the Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), have resigned from their posts.
They submitted their resignation letters to the government on Monday (August 12) in the face of student protests.
Additionally, an adviser to the central bank has submitted his resignation to the governor.
The four officials are deputy governors Kazi Saidur Rahman and Md Khurshid Alam, BFIU head Masud Biswas and bank’s adviser Abu Farah Md Nasser.
