7 DIGs, 5 police commissioners transferred
Seven deputy inspector generals (DIGs) and five metropolitans police commissioners have been transferred.
Besides, three top police officials have been sent into forced retirement from service.
The Public Security Division of the home ministry issued separate orders in this regard On Wednesday (August 21).
The three transferred officials are - additional IGP Atikul Islam, additional IGP (supernumerary) of police Headquarters Anwar Hossain and additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Md Asaduzzaman.
