AL leader Abdus Sobhan Golap arrested
Police have arrested Abdus Sobhan Golap, former publicity and publications secretary of the Awami League, on unspecified charges.
Golap was detained from a house in the capital’s Nakhalpara on Sunday afternoon, said Inspector (Investigation) Sarwar Alam of Tejgaon Police Station.
When asked which case Golap was being arrested for, Sarwar said: “No decision has been taken yet.”
