BNP asks for election roadmap to chief adviser

BNP has asked for the roadmap for the upcoming national elections to interim government chief adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir came up with the development after the dialogue with the Chief Adviser on Saturday.

He said, we have asked for election reforms roadmap in the dialogue. I have demanded the cancellation of the Union Parishad. We have also demanded legal action against Justice Khairul Haque for cancelling the caretaker government. Mirza Fakhrul said, there are still men of dictatorship at the administration. They have been asked to be removed immediately and replaced by a neutral person.

The reports of corruption in DC appointments are worrying. We talked about creating a new fit list. BNP Secretary General said that the Chief Adviser is closely monitoring the election issue. BNP standing committee members Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, and Salauddin Ahmed were present.
