Chief adviser takes these decisions in meeting with secretaries
Chief adviser to the interim government Economist Dr Muhammad Yunus held a meeting with the senior secretaries and secretaries of 25 ministries under him. In the meeting, the Chief Adviser gave instructions to speed up the work of all the ministries.
Mejbah Uddin Chowdhury, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration said this after the meeting on Monday.
The Public Administration Secretary said that priority should be given to fertilizer, electricity, agriculture, energy, ports, food and other urgent matters and work should be started within seven days and the lists should be given to the Chief Advisor.
He said that the demands of those who were deprived of promotion will be heard and a decision will be taken soon. Ministries and departments have been instructed to make them functional quickly.
The secretary said that so that the work of any ministry does not come to a standstill, he has given instructions that the secretaries should start those works on their own initiative.
