Dr Yunus to attend UN session
The chief adviser of the interim government Economist Dr Muhammad Yunus will go to New York on a short trip to attend the General Assembly of the United Nations.
Foreign adviser Touhid Hossain came up with the development on Sunday.
In response to the question of whether the Chief Adviser will join the UN General Session or not, the Foreign Adviser said that it has been decided that the Chief Adviser will attend the UN General Session. Now I am going to talk to him. He will return on a concise visit.
When is he going? In response to this question, the Foreign Adviser said, give some time, it will be informed later.
Will he meet anyone there? In response to this question, Touhid Hossain said, it must be. But to whom he will meet it can not be said now.
