Education adviser gives new information about HSC result
As the HSC exam has been cancelled, I cannot say how the results will be given, said the education adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud.
He said that the education boards will discuss this matter. Then they might make a decision.
He came up with the development in the meeting room of the Ministry of Education on Wednesday.
The education advisor said that half of the HSC exams have been done. Results may be generated by combining these exams and SSC results. But this is not something I can say alone. There is an expert committee for this. That committee will decide on this.
When asked about how the result will be assessed now he said, "I don't have any idea about how to assess now, I didn't get a chance to think about what happened yesterday. I will not say anything in advance, the actual decision of the education boards is about to be taken."
There is a demand to retake the cancelled exams. In response to the question of whether the examination will be taken now, the Education adviser said that it is up to the chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, and the announcement he made will remain in force.
