Hasina, 9 others sued under ICT Act
A case was filed with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Wednesday (August 14) against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and eight others for allegedly committing crimes against humanity and genocide between July 15 and August 5 this year.
Supreme Court lawyer Gazi MH Tanim filed the complaint with the investigation agency of ICT on Wednesday noon.
Bulbul Kabir, father of Arif Ahmed Siam, a Class IX student from Savar, has filed an application in this regard, according to lawyer Tanim.
The application seeks to hold the Bangladesh Awami League, Awami Jubo League, Bangladesh Chhatra League, and their affiliated organisations accountable for the allegations, Tanim said.
