Hina Khan makes comeback amid cancer battle

Indian actress Hina Khan is battling cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer on June 28. It is learned that she is suffering from Grade-III breast cancer. Hina herself announced the illness on social media. Her treatment is already underway. Chemotherapy is being done to cure the cancer. Hina cut her hair short after taking the first chemo. She also announced it on social media. She shaved all the hair on her head.

Meanwhile, Hina Khan is working despite all the pain. She will be making a comeback on screen with an upcoming web series called ‘Grihalaxmi’. This series is about the struggle for survival. Apart from Hina, Chunky Pandey, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Rahul Dev are also starring in it.

In a recent Instagram post, Hina said that the last 15-20 days of her journey were extremely difficult for her. “I knew that the toughest adversities would come, both physically and mentally. Despite the adversities, I decided to face them no matter what, no matter how big the adversities were. The physical obstacles and the mental pain I had to endure are beyond words. But there was no question of losing in front of that. So I fought. And I am still doing it,” she wrote.

Hina Khan, who has worked in a few films, is best known as a small-screen actress. She gained popularity with the audience through her performance in the serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.

After that, she worked in serials like ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’, ‘Naagin 5’. She also participated in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Fear Factor Khatro Ke Khiladi Season 8 and 13’, and Indian Idol. Hina has been seen in several serials as a special appearance or guest artist.
