I was shivering before going on stage: Oyshee

Due to the freezing wind, the intensity of winter in Dinajpur is increasing day by day. The bone-chilling cold has disrupted public life. Cars are driving on the roads and highways with their headlights on. The activities of low-income people have come to a standstill.

The sun is barely visible in the thick fog. Singer Fatima Tuz Zahra Oyshee has shared how she is doing this winter and what she thinks about the common people. All my memories of winter are related to stage shows. I have been performing as a professional artist since class four.

It also happened that I was shivering before going on stage. But as soon as I held the microphone in my hand, my body warmed up. As soon as I could sing a song, the audience danced along with me. You can understand that I have never been so afraid of the cold. I miss winter a bit since I moved from Noakhali to Dhaka permanently.

But one day a year, we all went to Noakhali together. We cooked duck meat in a big pot in the backyard. We all ate it with bread. We chatted. Winter is actually a season to enjoy. I have asthmatic problems. It takes time to recover from a slight cold. Despite that, winter is my favourite season. There is a reason. Most of our stage shows are in winter.

In winter, I drink spiced tea to keep my voice in good shape. I feel quite satisfied when I drink tea with a little cardamom and cloves. Many people in our country still live below the poverty line. Winter is quite difficult for them. If everyone tries together, they can also be well this winter. I request everyone to extend a helping hand from their respective positions. The skin becomes a little dry in winter. There is no alternative to cosmetics for this. I definitely keep moisturizer cream and lip gel in my bag. I would like to tell others to keep it in their bags as well.

Today (yesterday) the teaser of my new song was released. The song titled 'Bazar Bhala Na' was sung by me and composed by Shahriar Marcel Bhai. The most interesting thing is that my husband Arefin Jilani is the model in this song along with me and Marcel Bhai. I hope everyone will listen to the song.
