ICT receives complaint against Hasina over Chattogram genocide
The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) today received a complaint against 77 people, including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, over alleged genocide, murder and torture in Chattogram during the recent anti-discrimination students' movement.
Zakir Hossain, father of Foysal Ahmed, who was killed on July 16 in Muradpur intersection under Panchlaish Police Station in Chattogram city filed the complaint with ICT investigation agency office in Dhanmandi here.
The other prominent accused in the complaints are - Obaidul Quader, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Hasan Mahmud, Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, AZM Nasir Uddin, Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadwi, Saddam Hossain and Sheikh Wali Asif Inan.
The complainant brought allegation of genocide and crimes against humanity under sections 3(2), 4(1) (2) of The International Crimes (TRIBUNALS) Act, 1973.
