Interim government to do everything to establish justice: UN
G. M. FORHADUL MOZUMDER:
Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson of the UN Secretary General, believes that the interim government will do everything possible to establish justice in Bangladesh.
The UN spokesperson said these in responding to a question at a regular press briefing on Monday (August 26).
“We have no doubt that the interim government has taken charge of the country in a very challenging political and humanitarian situation. They (the interim government) will do whatever is necessary to ensure the rule of law and establish justice”, he said.
“There is no doubt because all the state institutions of Bangladesh have become corrupt during the tenure of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Management of the country has become a serious challenge for the new interim government”, he said.
