Jatiya Nagorik Committee formed
The Jatiya Nagorik Committee today (Sep 8) made its debut to abolish the fascist system and succeed in the ongoing struggle for a new political settlement in Bangladesh.
A 55-member convening committee of the organisation was announced at a programme held at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital this afternoon.
Nasir Uddin Patwary and Akhter Hossain were made convener and member secretary of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee respectively, while Samanta Sharmin was made its spokesperson.
