Anti-Discrimination Movement denounces fake news campaign
The leaders of the Students Against Discrimination (SAD) Movement have informed the Chief Adviser’s office that “a vested interest group” using the name of the SAD Movement is running misinformation against various media including the mainstream media in the country.
Using the name of the SAD Movement, this “fake group” lists some media outlets through letters or personally calling the people not to cooperate with those media – who did not cooperate with the student movement, and even threatened with insults or dismissal if supporting those, they said.
In this regard, the student leaders have made it clear to the Chief Adviser’s office that “such letters and lists are propaganda and fake”.
The leaders requested all concerned not to be confused by it.
