Militants won't have place on Bengal soil: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that militants will not have a place on the soil of Bengal. We all need to be vigilant. I want the help of countrymen. Because blow will come again and again. I don't care God gave me life, one day he will take it away. But where there is welfare work for people, we will do that welfare work.
She said these while speaking at the voluntary blood donation program, discussion and prayer ceremony organized by the Krishak League at the KIB Institute auditorium in the capital's Khamarbari on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said that Jamaat-Shibir would go underground as militants and try to destroy again. That's why we have to fight them as a militant organization and try to protect people together.
He also said that we have started the month of mourning through the blood donation program on August 1. Leaders of all organizations should not only mourn in this month of mourning but should work for the people and stand by the people. The ideals and goals of the father of the nation must be implemented by standing beside the people. The father of the nation has worked for this nation. He did not take anything except the cloth of the shroud, he only gave. We have to implement his ideals.
Awami League Advisory Council member Advocate Yusuf Hussain Humayun, Agriculture Affairs Secretary Faridunnahar Laili, President of Krishak League Sameer Chandra, General Secretary of Krishak League Umme Kulsum Smriti and others were present.
