MTF Tire Company is sending gifts not relief
People of several districts of the country are living inhuman life after the flood. The famous tire company "MTF" has come forward to help these helpless flood victims. Meghna Group's MTF Tire Company has delivered gifts to 5,000 families in flood-affected Feni, Laxmipur, Comilla, Noakhali districts.
Initially, only 2 liter bottles of water, dates and biscuits were provided during floods but now rice, oil, salt, pulses and soap have been added to the gift items.
Mr. Mostafizur Rahman (Senior General Manager-Marketing) and Roman Hossain (Assistant Manager-Marketing) who are in charge of these gift items said that they will be delivered through the relief activities conducted under the supervision of BangladeshArmy.
As part of the continuation of the gift program, on 09 September 2024, 2,000 packets of gifts were delivered to the Central Ordnance Depot Relief Fund. Meghna Group Chief Operating Officer Mr. Lutful Bari, Deputy General Manager Mr. Israfil Hossain Saju and Shamim Ahmed (General Manager-Accountant) were present at this time. On 12th September 2024, 3000 packets will be gifted to the Central Arms Depot Relief Fund.
Meghna Group has developed a bond of love with the people of the country for a long time. As a sign of that love, MTF has also supported the public relief collection program in the initiative of anti-discrimination student movement in TSC as well as the government initiative.
Mr. Mizanur Rahman Babu, Chairman of Meghna Group, said, “People of the forest area have faced huge losses. It is our duty to stand by the people of the country in this time of crisis”. The Meghna Group has also pledged to continue its support to the government and the countrymen to help the flood victims.
