Police returns 53 stolen mobile phones to owners
Police has returned 53 stolen mobile phones to their actual owners after recovery. Tejgaon Industrial Zone Police Station and Hatirjheel Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Saturday handed over the phones to their actual owners as those were lost at different times, said a DMP press release.
Tejgaon Zone Assistant Police Commissioner Saleh Muhammad Zakaria was present during the handover. The release said against the backdrop of general diaries filed by the owners regarding the loss of mobile phones for various reasons, Tejgaon Industrial Zone Police Station recovered 24 mobile phones in the last few days with the help of information technology.
Meanwhile, Hatirjheel Police Station, in the presence of the Assistant Police Commissioner of Tejgaon Zone, handed over 29 recovered mobile phones in the last few days to their actual owners. Hatirjheel Police Station recovered these mobile phones with the help of information technology based on the general diaries filed by their owners.
