Putul opens mouth about Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, departure
After Sheikh Hasina’s resignation and leaving the country, son Sajeeb Wazed Joy spoke several times in the media and social media, but daughter Saima Wazed Putul remained silent. However, this time, she opened her mouth.
In a post shared on social media X, Putul expressed her regret of not being able to be with her mother. She also said that she was shocked by the mother’s resignation, departure, and the loss of life of the students.
Expressing her regret, Putul said that she was saddened by not being able to hug her mother during her difficult times.
According to Indian media NDTV, Saima Wazed Putul spoke for the first time about her mother’s resignation and departure on Thursday.
“I am saddened by the loss of lives in Bangladesh, the country of my life. I am so sad that I couldn’t visit and hug my mom during this difficult time. I am committed to my duties as RD,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of Prime Minister of Bangladesh in the face of student protests on August 5. After that, she took shelter in India. After her resignation and exodus, an Interim Government was announced in the country. Nobel laureate economist Professor Dr. Mohammad Yunus will take oath as the Head of the Government on Thursday night.
