Law Minister Anisul Huq today said six coordinators of the Student Reform Movement, who were in ‘safe custody’ at the office of Detective Branch (DB), have been sent to their families.   

He informed the media on Thursday (August 1) afternoon.

The six coordinators are – Md. Nahid Islam, Md. Sarjis Alam, Hasnat Abdullah, Md. Abu Baker Majumder, Asif Mahmud, and Nusrat Tabassum.

Earlier, the six coordinators left the DB office by car around 1:30 pm. Before that, their parents went to meet the coordinators.

Confirming this, Badrul Islam, father of a coordinator Md. Nahid Islam, said that on Thursday at 6 am, the DB office called all the families and asked them to come. At around 1:30 pm, they left for home by a DB car.
