Western Australia BNP organize fund raising and doa mahfil for flood victims

On the initiative of BNP Western Australia branch, the 46th founding anniversary of the glory, tradition, success, struggle and progress of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi (Nationalist) Dal-(BNP), formation of fund to help the martyrs and flood victims of student movement and prayer mahfil was held at Boya Community Center last Saturday at 6 o'clock in the evening.
Australia BNP vice president Mohammad Kamal Hossain presided over the event. Dr. Moazzem Hossain, M. Faisal Al Mahmud and the joint convener of the volunteer group Australia branch Mashiul Azam Bappi performed the responsibility of conducting the event respectively.
Dr. Md. Zahidur Rahman, member of one of the standing committees of Bangladesh Nationalist Party and convener of BNP's Central Relief Committee, gave a virtual speech as the chief guest. In his speech, the chief guest Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi congratulated and thanked the leaders of BNP in Western Australia for coming forward to help the people affected by the unexpected floods on behalf of Tarek Rahman. In the 16-year long struggle to overthrow the fallen dictator Hasina government, many of the BNP leaders have been martyred, disappeared, crippled, and faced millions of disappearance cases. BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been imprisoned for a long time without any charges, she faced death without any treatment and did not compromise with fascism.

Secretary of International Affairs of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Central Committee Rashedul Haque spoke virtually as a special guest. He sincerely congratulated the leaders of all the states of Australia, especially the leaders of Western Australia, for their overall cooperation in the past movement.

At the beginning of the program Abdur Rahman led the recitation and prayer from the Holy Quran. Also among the leaders of Western Australia BNP Engineer Sabbir Hossain, Shah Alam, Dr. Ruhul Kabir, Dr. Abu Salek, Abu Saleh Bulbul, Zahid Hossain spoke. Mashiul Azam Bappi, Joint Convener of Secchasevak Dal Australia Branch, BNP Leader Zahid Hossain, Abdur Rashid, Bulbul, Nirjhar, and Masud were in full cooperation in the implementation of this lively event.
Former student leader and local BNP senior leader Saidul Haque Montu was present at the event. Apart from this, BNP Australia vice president Faizur Chowdhury (Sydney), Arif Ahmed Khan, (Melbourne) organizing secretary Ashraful Alam Roni, Khadija Zaman Rupam and many others were connected through Zoom.
