Miscreants allegedly hacked a youth to death and another injured over previous enmity in Boyra Village of Laxmipasha Union in Lohagara Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
Deceased Nayan Sheikh, 25, was the son of Kabirul Sheikh of the village. Seriously injured Sabuj Kazi, 30, son of Hasan Kazi of the same village and a fourth class employee of Boyra Government Primary School, was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for better treatment.
Locals and the deceased’s relatives said that Nayan Sheikh left for Lohagara along with Sabuj Kazi on Thursday morning.
